  Just went with my partner to get our first Christmas tree together. A lot of the trees were already turning brown. We did find a nice one eventually but we had next to no help from staff. We tried asking one employee if we were to take the tree to the register and he just stared at us blankly. We tried asking for a dolly and again, no response. Turns out he couldn't speak English and in fact, only two employees did. So those who didn't seemed to just mill around not helping anyone. The man at the front said someone should have carried it up for us, but the employee we had tried to communicate with made no attempt to work with us and just watched us carry it off ourselves. We didn't need to speak the same language to get our point across, he just didn't seem to care. The rest of the staff seemed distracted as well. Overall, their selection was iffy but the customer service wasn't just bad, it was confusing. I don't think we'll be returning.

  Omg! The first time I went to HGC I was amazed with the great variety of plants and low prices they have. I started fixing my garden for the first time in my life (just moved into new home) and I really enjoyed shopping at this place.
